Music - I gotta have my music!
One of the main uses for my phone is as a music player. I connect to my vehicle radio using bluetooth, I have a bluetooth stereo headset, and hard-wired headset.
Bluetooth Problems
My issues are with the bluetooth implementation on the Backflip.
I have had the following:
- The Backflip paired with bluetooth device for only phone that had been pairing for both phone and media audio.
- The music failed to turn off when a call came in (I could answer the call, but the music was still playing)
- Loss of function of the bluetooth controls (but this has only happened with third party music apps installed). I did a reset of the phone and the bluetooth functionality returned.
I use a Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970 bluetooth stereo headset and my radio is a Dual XHD6400 head unit with the optional Dual BTM60 Bluetooth Adapter.
I understand that outside apps can cause problems with any system if not written properly, but the first two problems happened without any other music apps on the phone.
Frustrating
This is a bit frustrating because I use bluetooth with my phone every day. For now I am not testing any third party music players and will live with the stock music player since working bluetooth is more important than extra features on the music player.
