Motoblur Account Setup

Motoblur is an integral part of the phone's operating system. If your Motoblur account did not get set up properly when you first used the phone you will not be able to add social networking accounts, syncing your contacts may not work, and many other issues may crop up. To check to see if you account is set up properly:

• Tap the Menu key
• Tap settings
• Scroll down and tap Accounts

You should see an account at the top of the list labeled Blur with the e-mail address you entered to use for the Blur account.

If that account is there then:

• tap the menu key
• tap Add account

The screen should now look like this:

If you do not see the Blur account or the social networking sites are not listed on the add accounts page you will need to do a factory data reset on your phone and start over.

When setting up your Motoblur account you should have a 3G or WiFi connection. You also need to double check that all the information is accurate, you can not change the setup info once the account has been created.
