Androlib Page
Developer's Page

This is a widget that provides:

  • Battery percent (%) & Status
  • Total & Available Internal Storage
  • External Memory (SD Card)

In a 2x1 widget.

Other Features

Tapping on the widget brings up a larger window:

In addition to being a larger and more detailed view the three rows are shortcuts.

Battery Info

Long tapping the battery row opens a detailed battery information window:

Disk Space

Long tapping the Disk Space bar will open the Manage Applications sub-menu of the phone's settings.

SD Card Space

Long tapping the SD Card Spacebar takes you directly to the SD card sub-menu:

This menu is different than the Sd card & storage enu on the phone.

Enabling USB mass storage when you do not have the phone plugged into a computer will cause your SD card to no longer be visible to the phone. If you enable USB mass storage mode here and then plug a usb cable into your phone you still have to select USB Drive. So this page really does not work with the Backflip.

If you unmount the SD card you will have to power the phone off and then back on before it is recognized again.

Rating/Conclusion

This is a very nice looking widget that works great, with the exception of the SD card sub-menu. The quick access to the battery info is excellent. I find that the display of the available memory on the screen isn't really necessary for me as those values don't change that often.

I am sure that there are some people who will find it great, but for me it's a case of looks great, but I don't really need it.
