These are the new toggle widgets for Airplane mode, Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi supplied by Motorola with the Android 2.1 upgrade. These widgets can not be resized.
When you tap on the widgets they toggle the state of that setting on/off. The widget displays the state of the setting in text and the bar with the setting symbol slides. The Bluetooth and WiFi widgets display an animation when changing.
All of the widgets display the icon portion in gray when the setting is off. The Airplane toggle is orange when on.
