- Upgrade Download/Install Page - I recommend the "Preferred method". This involves downloading the upgrade file and copying it to your phone's sd card.

Many users who have issues getting the phone to recognize or apply the upgrade (using either method) report that using a new or different SD Card resolves the issue. Format the card in the phone before copying the upgrade file to it, or attempting to upgrade using the browser method.

As you can see from the first thread reverting to 1.5 is not recommended.
